What is BuddyPlay?
BuddyPlay is a messenger add-on
that allows users to engage in multiplayer P2P games with their
messenger buddies. BuddyPlay seamlessly integrates into your
instant messenger environment but does not interfere with it. It
was specifically designed to provide the optimal instant
messaging gaming experience.
Who is Bud?
Bud is BuddyPlay's interactive
game agent. Once you install the BuddyPlay software your
messenger will become BuddyPlay enabled. This will add a
category of BuddyPlay Game Agents to your buddy list and you
will see Bud appear under that category. You can always play
a game against Bud and you can also invite additional buddies
to join you and play with Bud. For example, in the Blackjack
game Bud plays the role of the dealer.
Does it cost anything to use
BuddyPlay?
BuddyPlay is absolutely free. There is no charge to use or
download the games. Furthermore, no registration is required. Please read our

Which messenger types and
versions are supported?
BuddyPlay currently supports MSN
messenger version 6.0 and up. Support for additional messenger
types and versions will be introduced in future releases of BuddyPlay.
Does BuddyPlay make any changes
to my messenger?
BuddyPlay is an add-on to your
messenger. Except for giving you the ability to play BuddyPlay
games we do not make any changes to your instant messenger.
Furthermore, we
do not change or remove any messenger features.
Is BuddyPlay secure?
BuddyPlay is completely secure.
We have designed the product in a way that will not enable any
exposure of the messenger environment to security threats beyond
the original design of the messenger vendor.
