September 15—Macrogaming LTD, the owner and operator of www.BuddyPlay.com, announced today that downloads of its Multiplayer Blackjack and Texas Hold’em Poker software have exceeded 20,000 during the first month of its beta program. These downloads were achieved with minimal advertising and were propelled by word-of-moth and the viral nature of the instant messenger environment.
According to market feedback, the games have been received extremely well by the user community. So far the company has received vast amounts of feedback asking for more features and more game options.
The company admits that it did experience some downtime during extremely high-peak hours and it apologizes for the inconvenience that this may have caused. At this point all known downtime causes have been fixed and the stability and performance of the system has been significantly improved.
